Terms And Conditions Fees must be paid in advance of your child's class/camp. We will not discuss fees with children so please check your child is booked in before attending class. All fees are non refundable. In exceptional circumstances we may issue a credit note. This will be decided on a case to case basis. It is the clubs policy that refunds are not provided for absences, delays or early dismissals by parent or guardian, scheduled holidays, other activities resulting in absenteeism, or if you decide not to complete a term. Once you book your childs place it is held and secured for them for the duration of the term and cannot be offered to any other child! Requests for a refund for classes or bookings will not be facilitated.
Club policy allows for attendance at alternative class days: On those rare occurrences when classes are cancelled by the club and if the club is unable to run a class due to reasons that are out of our control such as national weather warnings, flooding, blocked access to the club, external damage due to weather etc, and also on those occasions when your child is unable to attend their regular class due to illness or injury we offer attendance on an alternative day so as to receive the full quota of classes each term.
Gym Rules for parents and gymnasts: These rules have been put in place to ensure our club runs efficiently within the safest environment possible for your child.
Credit Policy: It is the clubs policy that no credit is available for general absences including short illness and minor injury, transportation, delays, early dismissals by parent or guardian, scheduled holidays or other activities, personal and family engagements resulting in absenteeism. Members, please be advised that our overheads do not unfortunately reduce while you are absent and it would therefore not be sustainable for the club to discount or cancel your fees during such periods. Each club members fees for each year are used for projections to ensure that the club is self sufficient and can operate.
Parents: Arrive in time, it is particularly upsetting for the young children to arrive after all the others have started. Please ensure you are punctual collecting your child as coaches will be teaching the next class. Only martial artists and coaches are permitted in the gym. Please ensure that all children in your care who not members are fully supervised and kept out of the gym at all times. Our coaches wish to maximise coaching time with their students, if you wish to speak to us please send us an email with your queries and we will get back to you asap. Please do not drop off your child or any other child early unattended. The gym club cannot be responsible for these children until their own class has begun. Please inform a coach about any change of circumstance ie: medical, change of address and in particular change of phone number.
It is not permitted to bring food, chewing gum or any drinks, apart form water to the gym.
If your child has any allergies, sickness or disability please inform our coaching team.
Any child suffering from any acute illness such as cold, fever, cough or upset stomach should stay home and train another day.
Coaches will not administer medication to our members. Request for administering epi pens must be submitted in writing for use in the case of an emergency.
Children attending our classes must be toilet trained and aware of proper hygiene procedures.
Please be sure your child wears the correct club uniform and have all the required equipment for their level.
Outdoor shoes must be removed on entering the gym and flip flops or similar must be worn inside the main entrance and using the toilet.
Code Of Conduct For our members: We recognize the important role that young people play in our organization. Every young student should be encouraged to realize that they also have responsibilities to treat others with fairness and respect. A key element in our coach-member relationship is the development of independence. Our members are encouraged to accept responsibility for their own behavior and performance in training and in their social life.
Young Members Should Undertake To: Abide by the clubs rules, participate fairly and to do their best and enjoy themselves, represent themselves, their family and Club with pride and dignity, respect each other, improve and develop their skills, adhere to proper standards of behavior and approach our coaches with any questions or concerns you may have.
Our Members Should Not: Use abusive language, shout or argue with a group mate or a member of staff, spread rumors or tell lies about adults or others, bully or use bullying tactics to isolate another young person or member of staff, take banned substances, harm team members, opponents or their property and steal or show deliberate disrespect for people or property.
Young People Are Entitled To: Be safe and to feel safe, be happy, have fun and experience a sense of enjoyment and fulfilment, be treated with respect and dignity, comment and make suggestions in a constructive manner, be afforded appropriate confidentiality, make a complaint appropriately and be listened to, be believed, get help against bullies, be able to say no and to protect their own bodies.

Members Code Of Conduct: Members should listen and respect the decision of coaches. Members should arrive 5 minutes before the start of class, but remain quiet and respectful to the class that is still in progress. No rough, dangerous, or violent play, including bullying and inappropriate behavior, members must wear the club uniform to class. No members will be permitted to train unless they are wearing the correct clothes. (no skirts, jeans, tight shorts or any unsuitable clothing is permitted.) When glasses are worn ensure they are tightly fastened around the head. No jewellery, necklaces rings or watches are permitted when in class. Use of equipment is strictly prohibited without the proper supervision of a qualified coach. All equipment must be returned to its original place by the user after use. Members should never engage in activity without supervision. Any faults in the equipment should be reported immediately to a coach. No shoes are permitted on the gym floor. Hygiene is important, ensuring finger and toe nails are kept short enough to prevent interference with gripping or footing, as well as self inflicted injuries. Hair should be securely tied to prevent entanglement and to prevent obscuring sight when engage in activity. No smoking or alcohol allowed. Anybody appearing to be under the influence will be immediately expelled. No shouting, swearing or rude language. No gum, sweets, food or drink allowed in the gym floor area. The use of mobile phones is not permitted during class and should be turned off until the end of class. Members should report to the coach anything that will compromise their ability to perform. Members should approach the coach with any questions or concerns they may have. Members should not tell lies or spread rumors about adults or other children. Members should not keep secrets about any person who may have caused them harm. Inability or refusal to follow these and other coach directions and rules MAY result in immediate exclusion from the gym.
Responsibility: Martial arts and other activities offered may involve a certain element of risk, which may result in bodily injury to the participant. Martial Arts also requires the coach to perform some manual spotting which involves direct physical contact which is designed to assist the participant in the safe performance of the program skills. Coaches are not responsible for the children before and after classes, please make sure that your child is being dropped off and picked up in time.
